About this role
Axis is seeking an ambitious Sales Development Representative to work hand-in-hand with Inside Sales and Account Executive teams to fuel regional growth across APAC. The role is ideal for a Business Development professional who thrives on lead generation and pipeline management in a vibrant, multicultural workplace that values independent thinking.
Day-to-day work centres on qualifying inbound leads, executing outbound sales campaigns, and maintaining Salesforce data integrity. You will also activate dormant partner accounts, analyse sales data to identify trends, and generate high-quality leads for Account Executives while driving LMS activities.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Demand Generation Operations, APAC and operates in a fast-paced environment that encourages self-management. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and partner functions while representing Axis at B2B marketing events and AEC visits.

Requirements
- At least 3 years in Sales Development, Inside Sales, or Business Development roles
- Currently based in Australia (Melbourne or Sydney) with a strong track record in the local market
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.io
- Proven success in prospecting, booking high-volume meetings, and exceeding sales quotas
- Strong English communication skills and a solid grasp of sales methodologies
- Use sales intelligence to inform decisions and persuade stakeholders
- Manage time effectively and thrive in an independent, fast-paced environment
- Ambition to develop into a Full-Cycle Sales or Closing role
Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound leads and execute outbound sales campaigns to drive new business
- Maintain Salesforce data integrity, ensuring all account and contact data is validated
- Activate dormant partner accounts and verify newly registered partners in the leads portal
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and generate high-quality leads for Account Executives
- Drive Learning Management System activities and represent Axis at B2B marketing events and AEC visits
