As a VC-backed Foodtech-Startup, we bridge healthy nutrition, availability, and sustainability. With our intelligent food vending machines, we bring ultra-fresh, delicious meals exactly where people spend most of their day – because we aim to give over 10 million employees access to healthy food while reducing food waste.

As an SDR at Foodji, you are the first contact between us and our future customers. You directly address HR managers and managing directors – people who decide daily how their teams are supplied. Your pitch has a visible effect: we don't sell an abstract software feature, but fresh food that people experience every day.

You will own the outbound pipeline from A to Z – from research to initial outreach to qualified handover. You will reach decision-makers via cold calls, cold email, and LinkedIn with a personalized, data-driven approach. You will qualify inbound and outbound leads against clear criteria and hand over Sales Qualified Leads with full context to the Account Executive team.

You will work closely with Account Executives on account planning and messaging alignment. You will keep CRM data clean and track personal KPIs to continuously improve outreach performance. You will act as the voice of the market – identifying objections, buying signals, and competitive insights to feed back to Sales and Marketing.

Requirements

  • Native-level German and fluent English – both are mandatory for daily communication with customers and the team
  • Resilient and hungry for growth – you don't give up and want to get better every day
  • Hunter mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt the pitch in real-time to different personas and seniority levels
  • First professional experience in a sales, SDR, or customer-facing role – whether as a working student, internship, or entry-level job in B2B sales
  • Experience in the SaaS or food-tech industry is a plus
  • Outbound experience: cold outreach is familiar and you know how to turn a 'no' into the next step
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
  • Open to using AI tools in daily work – you like experimenting with new ways to work faster and smarter
