About this role

Maven AGI is an enterprise AI platform on a mission to unleash business artificial general intelligence, starting with customer service. Founded by executives from HubSpot, Google and Stripe, the company builds conversational AI agents that deliver accurate, autonomous support at scale.

As a Sales Development Representative you will identify, engage, and qualify potential clients while setting the foundation for strong customer relationships. The role is based in Boston and requires working in the office five days per week.

You will conduct market research, initiate contact via phone, email, and social media, and collaborate with the technical team to create product demos that showcase knowledge ingestion, API connections, and integration functionalities. Daily work includes developing video content and instructional materials to educate prospects.

Maven has assembled a world-class team from Google, Meta, Amazon, and Stripe, supported by advisors from OpenAI, Google, HubSpot, and Stripe. The position offers a high-energy environment with real-time deal celebrations and the chance to contribute directly to closing sales.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR or similar sales role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven experience in cold calling and lead generation.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts, including API integrations and data ingestion processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and a passion for AI and technology.
  • Experience with CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and qualify inbound and outbound leads through targeted outreach strategies.
  • Initiate contact with prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce Maven AGI’s solutions and engage key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to create product demos showcasing knowledge ingestion, API connections, and integration functionalities.
  • Develop engaging video content and instructional materials to educate prospects about offerings and technical aspects of solutions.
  • Assess prospect needs, challenges, and fit to accurately qualify leads and ensure alignment with target market and capabilities.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to pass qualified leads and contribute to closing sales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM, tracking lead interactions and progress.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, meetings booked, and opportunities qualified.
