About this role
At Zappi, the BDR team sits within the Sales organisation and plays a key role in driving pipeline and revenue growth. You will partner closely with some of the world’s leading B2C brands to help them make faster, better decisions across marketing, advertising, and innovation.
As a Business Development Representative, you will focus on identifying high-potential customers and generating new business through hyper-personalized outreach campaigns. You’ll execute event-based, trigger-based, and category-specific outreach using your tech stack, aiming for 100+ actions per day across phone, LinkedIn, and email.

You will report to the Director of Outbound Sales and collaborate closely with sales and customer success teams.
This role contributes directly to Zappi’s growth strategy and 2025 revenue goals. By building strong relationships and opening doors with new customers, you will help turn prospects into long-term partners who champion our platform.
Requirements
- Strong ability to craft hyper-personalized outreach messages across phone, LinkedIn, and email.
- Comfort with using a tech stack including CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and account intelligence tools like 6Sense, Vendelux, and UserGems.
- Resilience and persistence to maintain a high volume of outreach (100+ actions per day) while maintaining quality.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills to effectively nurture inbound leads and follow up strategically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and thrive on friendly competition.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions to senior-level decision-makers.
- Familiarity with outbound selling best practices and techniques for uncovering customer pain points.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect target accounts and execute event-based, trigger-based, and category-specific outreach, aiming for 100+ actions per day across phone, LinkedIn, and email.
- Nurture inbound leads by engaging with prospects in a timely and strategic manner to maximize conversion rates.
- Develop and execute innovative outreach campaigns targeting CMOs, VPs of Insights, and other key decision-makers within Fortune 500 accounts.
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Use outbound selling best practices to uncover customer pain points and articulate the value of Zappi's solutions.
- Leverage account intelligence tools like 6Sense, Vendelux, UserGems, and Sales Navigator to prioritize high-intent accounts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align outreach efforts and refine messaging.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation, outreach volume, and meeting conversion rates.
