About this role

As a Territory Development Representative in the NSW Sales Team you will be enthusiastic and driven with a mindset for success. You thrive on engaging with distributors customers and end users in a fast-paced environment. The role supports leading brands including DEWALT BLACK+DECKER and STANLEY across the hardware industry.

Daily work centres on driving store cluster sales performance and executing focus sheets at the store level. You will promote products through demonstrations while identifying incremental merchandising growth opportunities off-location. Planning occurs in Salesforce with weekly tasks and an accurate calendar maintained at all times.

You will develop stakeholder relationships and collaborate across departments while conducting training and demos at Field Days in-store sites and major trade events. A range of clean workable power tools accessories and materials must be maintained for all demonstrations and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Previous customer engagement experience with a passion for selling and business development.
  • Experience engaging with end users and brand advocacy.
  • Confidence and communication skills to present product initiatives to end users.
  • Ideally some experience in product training for internal or external parties.
  • Ability and interest to learn the specifications of the hardware industry.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to work in an autonomous environment.
  • Passion to work with customers and end users in the power tool and hand tool industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive store cluster sales performance.
  • Execute focus sheets and develop customer relationships at the store level.
  • Promote products through demonstrations and instruct retail customers and end users in their use.
  • Identify in-store incremental merchandising growth opportunities off-location.
  • Develop stakeholder relationships and collaborate across departments.
  • Conduct distributor and end user training and demos at Field Days in-store on sites and at major trade events.
  • Plan weekly and complete daily tasks in Salesforce ensuring the calendar is up to date and accurate.
  • Maintain a range of clean and workable power tools accessories and materials for demonstrations and training.
