The Sales Development Representative Team Leader leads a team of SDRs focused on generating new restaurant sign-ups to join the Deliveroo platform. This position ensures partners receive a positive and seamless onboarding experience while joining the marketplace. The role supports continued growth by enabling more SMB partners to maximise platform benefits.

You will manage SDRs to deliver quality partner acquisition and generate sales opportunities while tracking pipeline activity in Salesforce. The position requires executing campaigns that meet performance metrics for sales outcomes, restaurant experience and qualitative results. Regular reporting and analysis will drive clear action plans for the team.

The SMB teams manage relationships with thousands of independent restaurant and retail partners across several European markets. Work spans the full partner lifecycle from initial acquisition through onboarding and proactive account management. This hybrid role is based in the Manchester office three days per week.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a Sales Leadership role
  • Clear evidence of producing results in a Contact Centre environment
  • Ability to guide partners through effective negotiation
  • Experience working with Salesforce system for customer enhancement
  • Experience using and maintaining High Velocity Sales
  • Experience in identifying process improvements in pipeline management

Responsibilities

  • Manage SDRs to lead quality partner acquisition, generate new sales opportunities, and ensure relevant utilisation of Salesforce to track pipeline
  • Identify development areas of SDRs and provide coaching sessions to lead efficiency and enhance team performance
  • Work with Regional Sales Teams to share market knowledge that maximises sales opportunities in any given area
  • Execute campaigns adhering to relevant contact strategies that deliver performance metrics including sales outcomes and restaurant experience
  • Produce ongoing sales reports with sound analysis into performance ensuring clear action plans are built
  • Attend and contribute to weekly stakeholder meetings to provide updates on team performance and progress
  • Act as an inspirational role model for the SDR team
