Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology like Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system. The Air Dominance & Strike team develops autonomous robotics systems such as the Fury unmanned fighter jet and Barracuda family. Vehicle Software engineers build software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry.

You will lead verification and validation activities throughout the product development life cycle. Implement and automate software verification tests against requirements, including analysis and simulation per specifications. Review use cases, requirements, and specifications to ensure verifiability, including risk mitigations and regulatory needs.

Execute complex testing with statistical analysis and trace results to requirements with objective evidence. As a hands-on expert, conduct ad hoc testing, failure mode analysis, and V&V Design Reviews per project plans. Collaborate across engineering disciplines on initiatives from concept simulation to fleet management.

Provide technical leadership to a growing team while maintaining knowledge of regulatory standards. Gain understanding of Anduril’s business lines to build cohesive user experiences. Advocate for excellent engineering culture across the team.

Requirements

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Software testing or related technical experience
  • Experience with requirements based verification and implementation of verification strategies with a strong emphasis on automated tests
  • Extensive knowledge of software development, processes, and verification tools, such as C/C++, Python
  • Track record of architecting software test plans in the Aerospace and Defense space
  • In-depth knowledge of requirements management, risk based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control

Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition, design, and execution of product verification and validation activities throughout the product development life cycle
  • Implement and automate software verification tests by defining and delivering test cases written against software requirements
  • Analyze and simulate requirements per customer specifications or developed internal product requirements
  • Review use cases, requirements, and specifications for products to ensure that requirements and specifications can be verified and validated
  • Execute complex testing, perform in-depth statistical analysis, and interpret results independently
  • Ensure that testing and results are traced to requirements with objective evidence
  • Summarize results in reports with conclusions or recommendations
  • Provide technical leadership to a growing team
