Dresden, DE · Full-time · €18,000 – €24,000

About this role

NI, a leader in Software Defined Radios (SDR), is seeking an electrical engineering student to join our Dresden R&D site. This internship focuses on detailed simulation of the RF signal chain and measurements that validate those simulations for upcoming products.

You will develop and extend measurement frameworks and simulation models using LabVIEW and Python, working closely with an experienced mentor on a day-to-day basis. The role offers hands-on exposure to the latest measurement techniques and simulation tools in a real-world engineering environment.

You will collaborate within an international R&D team, learning how to diagnose technical issues and propose reasonable solutions. The work combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, helping improve technology day by day.

Structured onboarding and dedicated mentorship ensure you build practical expertise while contributing to meaningful projects. You'll gain insight into how day-to-day business looks for an engineer at a leading SDR manufacturer.
