In this role, you will manage cross-functional project lifecycles and learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all Fulfilment Centre systems. Daily tasks include working with relay logic, PLCs, sensors, and automated material handling equipment. You'll also support data collection and analysis of equipment performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
You'll work alongside experienced Engineering Technicians who are invested in your development. This environment provides exposure to both reactive and proactive maintenance across a wide range of automated systems and facilities infrastructure. You'll act as an ambassador for safety and promote safe working across the site.
Mentorship and professional growth are central to this role, with direct guidance from experienced RME engineers. You will build your professional network within Amazon's global operations team. The skills you develop here will set you apart as you launch your engineering career.
Requirements
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under high pressure.
- Strong analytical skills for data collection and analysis of equipment performance metrics.

Responsibilities
- Manage cross-functional project lifecycles across organizations and geographies, ensuring delivery of objectives and targets.
- Learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot all FC systems including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, and operational equipment.
- Work directly with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors, and encoders.
- Develop practical skills working on PLCs and PLC programs, troubleshooting ladder logic and communications modules.
- Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working across the site.
- Build expertise in repairing and maintaining Bus Systems such as profibus and asibus.
- Support data collection and analysis of equipment performance metrics (e.g., OEE) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead projects related to execution of systems and automated equipment designs, overseeing installation, throughput, and safety qualifications.
