As a Test Engineer Technician, you will be responsible for performing final and in-process inspections and audits to ensure product builds meet specifications and customer expectations.

Your day-to-day work involves conducting random, scheduled, and unscheduled audits to confirm conformance to technical drawings and company processes. You will also perform root cause analyses by inspecting material returns, reviewing documentation, and assessing quality assurance standards to determine the cause of defects or process breakdowns.

You will maintain data and logs on quality metrics, supplier information, and nonconformance findings for trend analysis. Additionally, you will prepare product return documentation for supplier failure analysis and monitor corrective action responses, all while complying with ISO quality system standards.

This role is ideal for a recent graduate or entry-level candidate, as no prior experience is necessary and you will work under supervision with detailed instructions. You will learn skills essential to fully perform the job and contribute to a team that values diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

No prior experience necessary
High School Diploma or equivalent (General Studies field of study required)
Electronics or IT Hardware field of study preferred
Ability to learn job content, practices, and procedures under supervision
Willingness to perform functions that are minimal in complexity with detailed instructions
Ability to work in-person at the Olive Branch, MS location and relocate before starting

Responsibilities

Perform final and in-process inspections and audits to ensure product builds meet specifications and build requirements
Conduct random, scheduled, and unscheduled audits to determine conformance to customer specifications and technical drawings
Perform root cause analyses by inspecting and evaluating material returns, reviewing documentation, and interviewing employees
Maintain data and logs on quality, returned material, supplier information, and nonconformance for trend analyses
Prepare required product return documentation to supplier for failure analysis and monitor corrective action responses
Coordinate or assist in developing and maintaining ISO system documentation, including work instructions and departmental policies
Ensure customer notes and expectations have been met and comply with quality system standards
