About this role

As a Junior Developer in Private Cloud Products at SAP, you will join a diverse, international team responsible for managing parts of SAP S/4HANA applications, specifically finance products. Your work will focus on maintaining existing code and developing new features, including in the AI area.

Your day-to-day tasks will include understanding and resolving software issues, managing source code for key SAP software, and making and testing corrections to the source code. You will also talk to customers and colleagues in English and collaborate on strategic projects such as customer case prevention, system self-healing, and applied AI.

SAP Labs are research and development locations that build and improve SAP core products, with 20 labs in 17 countries driving thought leadership globally. The Private Cloud Products Finance organization delivers leading finance applications as part of SAP's enterprise portfolio, working closely with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models.

Requirements

No need for former knowledge about SAP products
No need for previous professional experience
Proficiency in at least one OOP programming language such as Python, Java, C# etc.
Team player with a strong ability to network and with the drive for tangible results
Fluent in English (both spoken and written); German language ability is an advantage
An eagerness to keep learning and discovering new things
Knowledge of AI is beneficial
Knowledge of UI5 and CDS View is beneficial

Responsibilities

Understanding and resolving software issues
