About this role

WSB seeks a Graduate Engineer to contribute to engineering projects supporting client needs. Working under the supervision of experienced engineers, the role provides hands-on experience in design, analysis, and project development across multiple disciplines in a collaborative environment.

Assist in preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and special provisions while supporting field inspections and evaluation reports. Collect and analyze data to prepare technical reports and perform calculations and structural analysis with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or related field) required.
  • Successful completion of the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam within one year of employment is required if not already certified.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
  • Microsoft Suite Products (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).
  • Must be able to work onsite at a WSB office, as needed, up to five days per week, as required by the project, client, or hiring manager.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75 lbs. periodically.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and special provisions.
  • Support field inspections and contribute to the development of evaluation reports.
  • Collect and analyze data to prepare clear, concise technical reports.
  • Perform engineering support tasks, including calculations and structural analysis, with minimal supervision.
  • Learn and apply relevant industry standards.
  • Participate in site visits to gain hands-on experience in construction and design.
  • Demonstrate accountability for the quality and accuracy of assigned work.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential project issues and suggest possible solutions.
