Deliver auditing and accounting services tailored to charities, education, and trade associations. Requirements
- Nearing completion of ICAEW ACA qualification
- Part-qualified ACA status
- Solid understanding of double entry accounting and bookkeeping
- Existing experience to build upon as Senior Associate
- Familiarity with nonprofit sector clients including charities and education
- Knowledge of ISA requirements
Responsibilities
- Conduct audit fieldwork on a wide variety of nonprofit clients
- Draft recommendations for improvements to clients’ financial systems and controls
- Attend client meetings with the wider team
- Assist in planning audits, including reviewing prior year information and preparing lead schedules
- Prepare financial statements in line with relevant standards and legal requirements
- Draft corporation tax computations and support tax-related audit procedures
- Support the preparation of audit close-out meeting materials and discussion points
- Maintain knowledge of all relevant ISA requirements and internal policies
