About this role

Sama is a B2B platform that enables employers to provide hyper-tailored development through unlimited professional coaching. As an SDR, you'll be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities within HR, Talent, and Learning & Development leaders.

You'll own the top of the funnel, identifying target accounts, engaging decision-makers, and booking high-quality meetings. Your day-to-day involves leveraging Sama's AI tool to tailor outreach, building outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn, and engaging prospective customers to uncover business challenges.

You'll collaborate closely with team members to optimise outreach strategies and messaging, continuously testing and refining approaches to improve conversion rates. The team is made up of highly motivated and rigorous individuals who think like owners and are on a mission to consistently deliver amazing experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, or similar outbound sales role
  • Proven track record of generating qualified pipeline in a B2B environment
  • Prospecting experience within US, Canada, or UK markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Confidence in cold calling
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed KPIs and activity targets
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Fluent and incredibly articulate in English, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Leverage Sama’s AI tool to tailor outreach
  • Build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Engage prospective customers and uncover business challenges and opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records and activity within the CRM
  • Collaborate closely with team members to optimise outreach strategies and messaging
  • Continuously test and refine prospecting approaches to improve conversion rates
  • Consistently achieve and exceed activity and pipeline generation targets
