Kickstart your sales career with Employment Hero as an Outbound Sales Development Representative. You'll earn a base of $80k with a $137.6k OTE, with 140%+ achievable. This role is instrumental in shaping the growth of qualified leads and sales opportunities, directly contributing to our BHAG of revolutionising workforce management.

Your key focus areas include generating new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails, and lead follow-ups. You will identify and qualify key decision-makers within prospects, setting the foundation for future sales. You'll collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handover of high-potential leads.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of proven high volume outbound sales experience (B2B)
  • Experience with tools like Sales LinkedIn Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo and Outreach
  • Track record of over-achieving on targets
  • Strong phone presence and demonstrated resilience to be on the phone all day
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails, and lead follow-ups.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the company’s continued growth.
  • Identify and qualify key decision-makers within prospects, setting the foundation for future sales.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handover of high-potential leads for further development and closure.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements through discovery calls.
  • Dive into account research, identifying key decision-makers and sparking their interest.
  • Maintain and grow your prospect database within your assigned segment.
