About this role

Monte Carlo is the agent trust platform that unifies data and agent observability to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production AI systems. As a Strategic SDR, you'll help build our pipeline by triaging inbound leads and outbounding to our most strategic prospects.

You'll work fast to convert high-quality prospects into opportunities for our sales team, using AI tools daily to research accounts, personalize outreach at scale, and prioritize your queue. This isn't just lead routing — you'll help build the inbound playbook from scratch alongside marketing to hit pipeline goals.

We're excited about you if you've thrived in an early-stage or ambiguous environment where the playbook didn't exist yet. You're comfortable with complex, consultative sales cycles and know how to ask the right questions before pitching anything.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in pipeline generation or a process-heavy role
  • Thrived in an early-stage or ambiguous environment where the playbook didn't exist yet
  • Comfortable with complex, consultative sales cycles
  • Ability to ask the right questions before ever pitching anything
  • Intrinsically motivated with high accountability and a bias for action
  • Disciplined prioritization — can structure a process and focus on what moves the needle
  • Customer orientation with deep empathy and a genuine focus on adding value
  • AI-forward mindset — sees AI as a multiplier, not a shortcut

Responsibilities

  • Triage inbound leads against our ideal customer profile (ICP)
  • Outbound to our most strategic prospects to generate pipeline
  • Follow up fast and convert high-quality prospects into qualified opportunities
  • Help build the inbound playbook from scratch, working hand in hand with marketing
  • Use AI tools daily to research accounts, personalize outreach at scale, and prioritize your queue
  • Support complex, consultative sales cycles by asking the right questions before pitching
