About this role

This role is designed for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in outbound prospecting environments while learning the fundamentals of enterprise and partnership sales alongside experienced senior sales leaders. You will actively source and qualify opportunities while gaining exposure to the full integrated payments sales cycle through mentorship, joint calls, and strategic partner engagement.

Day-to-day, you will prospect and build pipeline through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, conferences, and industry engagement. You will identify software companies, SaaS platforms, and technology partners that could benefit from integrated payment solutions, and qualify prospective ISV and technology partners through discovery conversations and research.

You will partner closely with a Senior Business Development Manager to learn the complete sales lifecycle, including discovery and qualification, solution positioning, deal strategy, commercial discussions, contract execution, and partner onboarding. You will also participate in conferences, partner meetings, webinars, and networking events, and maintain accurate pipeline activity within CRM systems.

This role is intentionally structured as a career development path into a full Business Development Manager position, with direct mentorship from experienced ISV sales leaders and exposure to enterprise sales processes and integrated payments solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience, or HS/GED and 7 years of experience
  • Experience in Sales
  • Experience growing pipeline partners
  • Knowledge of computer software including Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized and self-starter
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and good listener
  • Ability to work cross functionally with other departments

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate pipeline activity and prospect engagement within CRM systems
  • Support strategic targeting initiatives across key verticals and industries
