The Reporting & Analysis team builds tools that help answer customers' most commonly asked questions, such as daily user activities, specific app flows, common user paths, and monthly retention after signup. We create comprehensive visualizations for these insights.

Develop functionalities like dashboards, sharing, and alerting for the data customers care about most. Deeply understand what insights users seek and provide tools to make data-driven decisions and test hypotheses. This role focuses on delivering trusted insights through an industry-leading platform combining product analytics, session replay, and experimentation.

Organize in small, nimble product groups of two to five engineers partnering closely with PM and design. Enjoy huge autonomy over what to build and how to build it. The team powers tools that accelerate adoption, improve retention, and enable confident shipping.

Requirements

Proven track record of launching and maintaining large-scale web products
Deep understanding of web application architecture and principles
Mastery of at least one programming language
Experience building scalable backend services for data-intensive applications
Knowledge of data querying and processing for analytics platforms
Familiarity with web APIs and real-time data handling

Responsibilities

Build tools to answer common customer questions on daily user activities, app flows, user paths, and retention rates
Create great looking, easy to understand, and comprehensive visualizations
Develop dashboards, sharing, and alerting functionalities for key customer data
Deeply understand user insights and provide tools for data-driven decisions
Enable hypothesis testing through scalable reporting features
Launch and maintain large-scale backend web products
Partner closely with PM and design in nimble product groups
