Scurri optimises the ordering, shipping and delivery processes for a growing list of online retailers and distribution companies, making it easier for well-known brands to ship goods worldwide. The growing demand for online shopping means we have an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our expanding team.

This full-time, permanent role is based out of our stunning new Wexford Town HQ. The successful candidate will drive pipeline growth to uncover, qualify and nurture new opportunities within key markets, focusing on outbound prospecting to target accounts to secure initial qualified meetings while some inbound leads may be provided from marketing demand generation.

You will work collaboratively with our sales team to generate qualified meetings, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly targets. The role offers the chance to leverage cutting-edge AI tools to increase personal productivity, develop AI-assisted workflows, and lead automation projects that eliminate manual friction across technical support, customer communications, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Business-related third-level qualification or similar.
  • 1+ years experience in a sales or business development role with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to log activity accurately in a CRM, working to structured sequences and maintaining good data hygiene.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to think quickly.
  • Ability to craft compelling, hyper-personalised emails and LinkedIn messages that capture executive attention and consistently drive reply rates.
  • Resilience, tenacity, and self-motivation to maintain high daily activity levels in the face of frequent rejection.
  • Quota-driven with a strong desire to win, consistently striving to exceed personal targets and be a top performer.
  • A relentless drive to leverage and implement AI tools across manual and routine tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Scurri’s delivery management software and its benefits to customers.
  • Generate qualified meetings for the sales team by researching, qualifying, and establishing contacts at target accounts.
  • Follow up and qualify leads via telephone and email with a goal of scheduling meetings for the sales team.
  • Build target account profiles by researching and adding target personas to Salesforce.
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly target number of calls, social touches, and emails to deliver net new opportunities.
  • Log, track, and maintain all activities in accordance with sales processes in Salesforce CRM, producing reports and presentations as required.
  • Leverage AI tools and prospecting tools to research companies, identify key decision makers, and develop AI-assisted workflows to speed up and improve technical support.
  • Lead the charge in eliminating manual friction by identifying high-impact opportunities for AI-driven automation across customer communications and reporting.
