About this role

TransPerfect is seeking motivated and tech-savvy Entry-Level Developers to join the team supporting Virtual Reef, an internal business platform. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about software development and building scalable technology solutions.

Day-to-day, you will support development, maintenance, and enhancement of the platform, collaborate with cross-functional teams on new features, and assist with troubleshooting and debugging. You'll write clean, maintainable code and contribute to front-end and/or back-end projects.

You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment alongside experienced developers and technology leaders. The team values innovation, curiosity, and professional growth, providing opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals while working on impactful internal technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
Exposure to or experience with one or more of: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, React, or QA automation platforms such as Playwright or Selenium
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Basic understanding of software development principles and web technologies
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
Internship, academic project, or personal project experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Virtual Reef platform
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams on new features and improvements
Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in testing and quality assurance efforts to ensure platform reliability
Contribute to front-end and/or back-end development projects
Help document technical processes, workflows, and system updates
Support ongoing optimization and performance improvement initiatives
