About this role

Join Global Treasury Technology as a Junior Developer supporting multiple liquidity risk modernization and regulatory projects. You will contribute to building cost-effective, robust applications while managing daily operations including batch processing and production support.

Approximately 50% of your time will involve building net new code, with the remaining 50% focused on existing code maintenance and application support. You will also participate in systems implementation, planning, and development, and provide technical guidance to team members.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including core project teams, internal data platform, infrastructure, and security teams. Additionally, you will work with vendor applications and engage in execution, programming, and unit testing of projects.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on multiple liquidity risk projects covering modernization and regulatory initiatives. This role offers exposure to large data volumes and a chance to deepen technical skills within an inclusive and high-performing culture.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive technical work experience in application programming, system analysis, design, unit testing and debugging.
  • 2+ years' experience with Python, PySpark, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, Linux Redhat, and tools like Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Bitbucket, SonarQube, GIT.
  • 2+ years' experience using Linux or Unix, including related scripting.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with RDBMS systems, Postgres preferred.
  • Experience working with large volumes of data processed daily.
  • 2+ years working with Elastic Search.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations including batch processing and production support.
  • Participate in development of cost effective and robust applications.
  • Provide technical support to applications during production and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in systems implementation, planning, and development.
  • Provide technical guidance to other team members.
  • Build net new code and work on existing code and application support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including internal data platform, infrastructure, and security teams.
  • Engage in execution, programming, and unit testing of project deliverables.
