About this role

This role focuses on lead generation activities to support the company's sales and service goals. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls and internet inquiries to schedule appointments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include answering phone calls using a proven script, logging customer interactions into the Dealership Management System, and scheduling or confirming appointments. You will also follow up with no-show appointments and track outcomes with the sales or service departments.

You will work within a Business Development Center alongside a team focused on driving customer engagement. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Up to 3 years of previous customer service and/or business development experience.
  • Ability to deliver superior customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to use a Dealership Management System and additional software to support operations.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming phone calls according to a proven, pre-set script and schedule a sales or service appointment.
  • Log all customer comments into the Dealership Management System.
  • Schedule follow-up contact if no appointment is made.
  • Confirm scheduled appointments with future customers.
  • Re-schedule no-show customer appointments.
  • Respond to customer website requests and contact internet clients via email and phone to schedule appointments.
  • Maintain and update customer changes in the database.
  • Contact the current customer base on current marketing incentives.
