About this role

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be a key contributor to our enterprise-wide sales initiative, driving sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging lasting relationships with customers. We are looking for someone with a proven track record and hunger for success in the RV industry.

Your day-to-day involves taking ownership of nurturing and cultivating relationships with prospects from initial contact to post-sale support. You will proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour, utilize provided scripts, and employ various lead-generation techniques to schedule appointments and drive traffic.

You will work closely with the Sales Development Manager and collaborate with the sales team to ensure department symbiosis and a seamless customer journey. Being receptive to coaching and tracking your personal performance metrics are key to improving departmental success.

This role offers uncapped variable pay and on-the-job training opportunities, with potential for growth through tuition reimbursement and paid parental leave. You will stay up-to-date with marketing campaigns and help manage online reputation through review sites and social media.

Requirements

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Prior CRM experience and very computer savvy
  • Previous sales experience a plus
  • May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of nurturing and cultivating relationships with prospects throughout their entire journey, from initial contact to post-sale support
  • Create a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting, ensuring a steady flow of activity and opportunities for the sales team
  • Employ various strategies to generate appointments and drive traffic by meeting departmental activity targets using outbound calls, online inquiries, and other lead-generation techniques
  • Effectively communicate with prospective customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries, and provide information about RV products and services
  • Proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary objective of scheduling sales appointments
  • Utilize the CRM system to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data
  • Be receptive to coaching and work closely with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure total department symbiosis and a seamless journey from initial contact to sale
