About this role
At WithSecure we protect businesses worldwide with SaaS solutions that safeguard against modern cyber threats. We are seeking a Business Development Representative to fuel growth for the Cloud Protection for Salesforce business across the EMEA region. The role is commercially oriented and client-facing with a primary focus on pipeline generation.
You will research target accounts in regulated industries, identify key decision-makers, and engage them through outbound prospecting. Qualifying inbound leads and converting them into sales opportunities forms a core part of daily activity. Securing meetings with CISOs and Salesforce platform owners drives the pipeline forward.
You will collaborate closely with the field sales team to shape account strategies and support presence at Salesforce ecosystem events. This role serves as an entry point into enterprise sales with a clear path toward more senior positions. Your contribution helps protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data from cyber extortion. Energy, resilience, and curiosity are essential for success here.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in a B2B sales, business development, or SDR/BDR role.
- Demonstrated ability to drive outbound pipeline creation.
- Strong communication skills in written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
- Energy, resilience, and curiosity with a willingness to learn in a fast-evolving environment.
- Interest in SaaS, cybersecurity, or Salesforce ecosystem technologies.
Responsibilities
- Generate new pipeline through outbound prospecting via calls, emails, LinkedIn and events.
- Qualify inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Research target accounts such as Salesforce-heavy enterprises in pharma, finance and energy.
- Secure meetings with security decision-makers including CISOs, IT Directors and Salesforce platform owners.
- Collaborate closely with the field sales team to build account strategies.
- Support presence at Salesforce ecosystem events such as Dreamforce and regional industry conferences.
- Consistently achieve activity and pipeline targets.
