About this role
As a Graduate Sales Associate at Capgemini, you will support Sales Representatives and Account Managers in pursuing new business opportunities. This role offers direct exposure to both client-facing work and Capgemini's internal sales processes.
Your day-to-day work involves supporting go-to-market teams with growth plans and taking responsibility for opportunity development from identification through to closure. You will also participate in deploying sales strategies for larger opportunities and build your own external network of client relationships.
You will collaborate with Market Unit and Portfolio teams to align client demand with Capgemini solutions, and work with the Bid Management and Sales Operations teams to understand the full sales and bid processes. Requirements
- A bachelor's degree (mandatory, but subject is not restrictive)
- An interest in industry and technology
- Be organised and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- A keen willingness to learn
- The ability to communicate clearly and with impact, so clients feel confident you understand their requirements
- The ability to tailor your communication style to each audience, including conveying complex concepts in jargon-free language to a non-technical audience
- Be prepared to challenge and be challenged, to think on your feet, pitch in ideas and work collaboratively
- Have a genuine interest in professional and personal development
Responsibilities
- Support Sales Representatives/Executives and Account Managers/Executives in pursuing business opportunities
- Support go-to-market teams with the delivery of growth plans
- Take responsibility for opportunity development, managing it through to closure
- Participate in deploying the Sales strategy for larger opportunities
- Build your own external network and form valuable client relationships
- Collaborate with Market Unit and Portfolio teams to align client demand and Capgemini Solutions
- Collaborate with the Bid Management team to understand the Bid process
- Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to understand the Sales process, including seeking approvals from internal stakeholders
