About this role
Axiom is where legal teams find the right talent for everything from routine in-house tasks to complex outside counsel work. As we continue our expansion, we are looking for a team member who can share Axiom's story with prospective clients and set up revenue-generating meeting opportunities for the sales team.
This role involves strategically researching and identifying potential client contacts, generating leads, and uncovering high-value opportunities. You will communicate Axiom's business model to potential clients in an impactful way, driving business through outbound phone calls and strategic e-mails tailored to their specific legal needs.
You will work within a close-knit, high-growth, innovative, and values-driven team. The environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial, requiring outstanding judgment, maturity, confidence, and professionalism in every interaction.
This is a position for an aspiring sales professional excited to jump-start their career as a Business Development Representative. You will develop professionally while supporting the full sales cycle and collaborating with marketing to create external materials that engage prospective clients.
Requirements

- Highly persuasive verbal communication skills and excellent written communication skills

- Strong MS Office skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Strategically research and identify potential client contacts, generate leads, and uncover high-value opportunities
- Communicate Axiom's business model to potential clients in an impactful way and demonstrate why a meeting would be beneficial to their business
- Drive business through outbound phone calls and prepare and send strategic e-mails to prospective clients specific to their business or legal needs
- Successfully diagnose the client's key business needs to ensure a high quality of interaction in the first sales meeting
- Support Sales in all aspects of the sales cycle, including scheduling follow-up meetings and managing pipelines of completed meetings
- Work with local and central marketing teams to create external marketing materials to engage prospective clients
