We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual nearing completion of their ICAEW ACA qualification. Build on existing experience as a Senior Associate with hands-on exposure to a diverse client portfolio including charities, independent schools, trading subsidiaries, and membership organisations. Work directly with clients to understand their businesses, uncover obstacles, and gain familiarity with their sectors. Projects vary from a few days to weeks, encouraging early responsibility across all aspects of the audit process.

Requirements
- Currently studying towards the ICAEW ACA qualification, having begun or completed
- Nearing completion of ICAEW ACA qualification
- Solid understanding of double entry accounting/bookkeeping
- Knowledge of relevant ISA requirements
- Experience building toward full ACA qualification in audit
- Ability to work with nonprofit clients including charities and education
Responsibilities
- Conduct audit fieldwork on behalf of a wide variety of nonprofit clients
- Draft recommendations for improvements to clients’ financial systems and controls
- Attend client meetings with the wider team
- Assist in planning audits, including reviewing prior year information and preparing lead schedules
- Prepare financial statements in line with relevant standards and legal requirements
- Draft corporation tax computations and support tax-related audit procedures
- Support the preparation of audit close-out meeting materials and discussion points
- Maintain knowledge of all relevant ISA requirements and internal policies in producing audit files
