We're hiring a Business Development Representative to drive new business across Singapore and the broader APAC region. This foundational role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact as one of our early remote sales hires in Southeast Asia.
You'll focus on prospecting and building relationships across industries to bring Telnyx voice, messaging, wireless, and networking products to new markets. The position centers on outbound outreach via calls, emails, and social channels while qualifying opportunities that advance the regional pipeline. Success requires learning the product suite quickly and speaking with confidence about how our solutions address real customer problems.

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development (SaaS or telecom experience a big plus).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence and presence on the phone — persuasive, curious, and comfortable navigating conversations at all levels of seniority.
- Startup mindset — resourceful, adaptable, and energized by change with self-motivation to thrive in a remote environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with experience managing a pipeline and working within a CRM like Salesforce.
- Tech-savvy and eager to master new tools and platforms quickly.
Responsibilities
- Source and qualify new sales opportunities via outbound calls, emails, and social outreach across APAC with a focus on Southeast Asia.
- Initiate contact with potential customers and build strong early-stage relationships that lead to meetings and pipeline.
- Understand customer needs and clearly articulate how Telnyx solves real problems with cutting-edge technology.
- Schedule qualified meetings with Account Executives and collaborate on strategy to accelerate the sales cycle.
- Log activity and insights into Salesforce to maintain pipeline visibility and drive conversion.
- Learn about our product suite and the competitive landscape so you can speak with confidence and authority.
- Contribute to the refinement of messaging, outreach tactics, and market positioning as we grow in the APAC region.
