About this role

As a founding EMEA Sales Development Representative, you will be the engine behind the engine, converting high-volume developer inbound into qualified opportunities and building an outbound motion to teams creating cutting-edge agents and AI products. Tavily is building the search engine for AI agents, connecting LLMs to high-quality web content for real-time reasoning.

Your day-to-day involves promptly following up with inbound and outbound prospects via email, LinkedIn, and calls to ensure no lead slips through the cracks. You will build a deep understanding of Tavily's ideal customer profile—AI engineers, data science teams, and product leaders—and qualify opportunities to book meetings for the Sales team.

You'll work directly with our US-based founding team and have real ownership in shaping how we grow across Europe. This role is based in London with an in-person office environment (4 days per week), embedded in the fast-moving, bold culture of Nebius.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of Sales, SDR, Analytics or Computer Science experience in a SaaS or tech environment preferred (open to exceptional entry-level candidates)
  • Based in London and excited about an in-person office environment (4 days per week)
  • Professional fluency in either German or French is required
  • Resilient, energised by building relationships, and genuinely excited to learn
  • Genuinely curious about AI and enjoy learning what new products and teams are building
  • Ability to balance high-volume outreach with thoughtful experimentation and feedback

Responsibilities

  • Promptly follow up with inbound and outbound prospects via email, LinkedIn, and calls to ensure no lead slips through the cracks
  • Build a deep understanding of Tavily’s ICP: AI engineers, data science teams, and product leaders building agentic systems
  • Qualify opportunities and book meetings for the Sales team, equipping them with correct information to win deals
  • Provide structured feedback on signals, workflows, and outputs to help improve Tavily based on real-life testing
  • Manage high-volume developer inbound from sign-ups and ensure timely, personalised follow-up
  • Outbound prospect to identify and engage AI startups and enterprises across EMEA markets
