The Junior Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying potential leads for the sales team. This position involves proactive outreach, lead generation, and building initial relationships with prospects. The primary goal is to create a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Daily work includes conducting targeted research to identify decision-makers and using email, phone calls, and social media to generate and qualify leads. You will initiate personalised contact with prospects and clearly articulate the value proposition of the company's products or services.
Collaboration with Account Executives and Sales Managers helps align on strategies and priorities while providing insights from prospect interactions. Accurate CRM records ensure the sales team receives regular updates on lead status and opportunities in the pipeline.
Continuous learning involves staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Training sessions support professional development and help refine qualification parameters based on ideal customer profiles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Resilience and persistence in the face of rejection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted research to identify potential customers and decision-makers.
