About this role

We’re seeking an amazing Sales Development Representative (SDR) to find and screen likely customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, the SDR excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting sales closers up for success.

The role requires analyzing and qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. Daily outreach happens through cold calls and emails to engage prospects and schedule meetings between clients and account executives.

Every potential lead is an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability. The SDR manages a pipeline of interested prospects while keeping records accurate and reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Experience in Sales Development with a proven track record, preferably in software and marketing services
  • Resilience in facing rejection and maintaining high morale during high-volume outbound calls
  • Expertise in the industry with a deep understanding of software sales and marketing services
  • Lead nurturing skills to maintain engagement with unqualified leads for future opportunities
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas and fair understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven creative problem-solving approach
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Reach out to prospects through cold calls, emails and other channels
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and account executives
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage account executives for next steps
  • Manage a detailed report on client reach-out status with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • Keep records accurate and up-to-date
  • Timely and comprehensive follow-up with leads to convert them into scheduled calls with Account Executives
