As a Business Development Representative, you introduce the Klaviyo platform to new brands and set the foundation for long-term customer success.

BDRs take a proactive approach by researching brands through cold outreach, strategic prospecting, and compelling messaging. This track demands grit, creativity, and resilience to open doors and create new opportunities in the e-commerce space.

The Sydney team is expanding go-to-market functions across sales, customer success, partnerships, and marketing. You will help shape a local working culture while aligning with Klaviyo’s values of accountability, effort, and winning as one.

This role offers a clear path to grow into an Account Executive position. You will experiment with AI tools to transform workflows and build smarter systems from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Valid authorization to work in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified opportunities for Account Executives through rigorous qualification
  • Build prospective relationships with e-commerce brands and help them understand Klaviyo’s growth potential
  • Identify buyer needs, position Klaviyo’s value, and route leads appropriately
  • Maintain consistent outreach across calls, emails, and social channels
  • Demonstrate grit and resilience by staying positive and motivated in the face of rejection
  • Reflect Klaviyo’s core values of accountability, effort, and winning as one
  • Share insights and contribute to improving processes as the team scales
  • Transform workflows by putting AI at the center of daily work
