About this role

Docusign brings agreements to life for over 1.5 million customers and a billion users across 180 countries. The Market Development Representative generates new business by making outbound calls and sending targeted emails to prospects in core vertical markets.

This role spends roughly 80 percent of the time on the phone prospecting and qualifying customers through strategic questions about their business needs. The MDR then aligns Docusign solutions to improve agreement processes and schedules meetings with Account Executives.

Market Development Representatives work in a hybrid model with a minimum of two days per week in the São Paulo office. The position reports to the Manager, MDR and focuses on strategic selling within assigned territories using CRM tools.

The role offers hands-on training with an emphasis on researching targeted accounts and building campaigns alongside marketing. It provides a clear path to deepen expertise in SaaS sales at a company committed to equal opportunity and trust.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent sales-related experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a client or customer-facing role
  • Prior experience in the SaaS industry preferred
  • Driven, enthusiastic, and hard-working nature

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to prospects in Docusign core vertical markets and offer tailored solutions to improve business processes
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments
  • Use CRM strategically to record prospect information and identify further opportunities in assigned territory
  • Collaborate with marketing to create email and LinkedIn campaigns that increase company and personal brand awareness
  • Qualify prospective customers through targeted questions about business strategy and align Docusign offerings accordingly
  • Research targeted accounts to support strategic selling and territory development
