About this role
The Junior Sales Development Representative plays a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying potential leads for the sales team. This position involves proactive outreach, lead generation, and building initial relationships with prospects.
Conduct targeted research to identify potential customers and decision-makers. Use various channels including email, phone calls, and social media to generate and qualify leads while collaborating with marketing on inbound opportunities.
Initiate personalised contact with prospects to articulate value propositions and engage in initial conversations. Assess lead fit based on predefined criteria and maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system.
Work closely with Account Executives and Sales Managers to understand sales strategies. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities while attending training sessions for ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Resilience and persistence in the face of rejection.
