Interns work on projects matched to skills across firmware engineering, technology development and validation, hardware engineering, and strategy and data analytics. Contribute to firmware development and validation for next-gen SSD products. Support system-level workload studies, performance benchmarking, and test plan execution.

Participate in high-speed I/O characterization, NAND testing, and immersion cooling development. Build AI dashboards using PowerBI and Snowflake while analyzing data with ML/AI techniques. Collaborate in agile teams to groom and execute backlog tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to firmware development and validation for next-gen SSD products
  • Work on code coverage improvements, debugging, and tool enhancements
  • Support system-level workload studies and performance benchmarking
  • Develop and execute test plans for media policy and backend test flows
  • Assist in thermal mechanical validation and lab automation
  • Participate in high-speed I/O characterization and NAND testing
  • Build and enhance test programs using advanced equipment (e.g., T5835)
  • Build AI dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI and Snowflake
