Fizz is the hottest Gen Z social platform, enabling global connections around shared experiences beyond Instagram and TikTok. Launched at Stanford in 2021, it dominates 700+ U.S. colleges with >95% undergraduate adoption. We seek a high-performing Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to scale our advertising business.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, building pipeline via email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals. Sell consultatively by aligning native posts, activations, UGC, and custom programs to client goals. Collaborate with the Head of Business Solutions on new business with brands and agencies.

This cross-functional role intersects sales, product, and creative strategy in a fast-paced early-stage environment. Thrive with strong execution, curiosity, and relationship-building amid digital media trends. Represent Fizz at client meetings and industry events.

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in digital advertising sales (publisher, ad tech, or media)
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quota ($1M+ preferred)
  • Experience selling to brands and/or agencies
  • Strong understanding of digital ad products (native, sponsorships, etc.)
  • Ability to independently manage a full sales cycle
  • Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills
  • Existing relationships with agency or brand contacts (preferred)
  • Experience selling custom programs or integrated campaigns (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new business
  • Build pipeline from scratch using outbound strategies across email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals
  • Maintain consistent pipeline coverage (3–5x quota)
  • Sell consultatively by aligning Fizz’s offerings (native posts, activations, UGC, custom programs) to client goals
  • Hit and exceed revenue targets with focus on repeatable deal flow
  • Build and grow relationships with agency and brand stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on proposals, pricing, and campaign strategy
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate forecasting
