The part-time Undergraduate Civil Engineer role joins the Pre Contracts Team at the Nambour office for exposure to civil infrastructure in mining and construction.

Working 2–3 days per week during term time supports studies while gaining operational and project management experience. Responsibilities include procuring materials, assisting with construction administration like timesheets and job setup, and supporting quoting for new works. Onsite project exposure during university breaks provides hands-on QA and construction support.

Requirements

  • Pursuing undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering
  • Previous undergraduate experience highly regarded but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Procure construction materials and consumables
  • Assist with construction administration including timesheets, job setup and close out
  • Provide general support to the management team
  • Assist with quoting for new works
  • Gain exposure to construction methodologies and industry best practice
  • Support QA and construction activities during onsite project exposure in university breaks
