Your day-to-day will involve assigned duties that provide exposure to real-world projects, from design and analysis to site coordination. You will work alongside experienced engineers, planners, and digital innovators in a collaborative environment focused on delivering sustainable and resilient solutions.

As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation, this role is open exclusively to UAE Nationals with a family book. Successful completion of the ADVANCE programme, combined with strong performance, can indicate readiness for greater responsibilities and career growth within the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • UAE National with a family book (as per UAE labour law and Emiratisation commitment)
  • Strong academic record with foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • Familiarity with electrical design standards and codes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Demonstrated interest in infrastructure or consulting engineering through coursework or projects

Responsibilities

  • Engage in all elements of the ADVANCE programme to build essential business and personal skills
  • Perform assigned duties that provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience in electrical engineering
  • Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for infrastructure projects
  • Support senior engineers with calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions
  • Conduct site visits to observe installation and coordinate with construction teams
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation under guidance
