This role creates new customers and achieves sales targets through prospecting and relationships.

Primarily an inside sales position, focus on active sales prospecting, hunting, lead cultivation, qualifying prospects, and arranging software demonstrations. Coordinate with product specialists and management to win business, targeting medium and large SMBs in retail, restaurants, eCommerce, and hospitality. Drive expansion of Hypersonix’s market presence.

Build and maintain strong positive relationships with key customers while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Development and Finance. Utilize a sales development platform for outreach through calls, emails, and social engagement. Refine lead-generation strategies and implement annual sales plans guided by the VP of Sales.

Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer challenges to provide strategic recommendations. Accurately manage customer records, sales forecasts, proposals, and budgets. Be part of a team reshaping commerce with cutting-edge AI to help retailers thrive.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the retail, restaurant, hospitality, and eCommerce industries
  • Strong track record of success in software or SaaS sales
  • Highly motivated, persistent, and goal-driven in acquiring and closing targeted clients
  • Experience in active sales prospecting, hunting, and lead cultivation
  • Ability to qualify prospective new clients and arrange software demonstrations
  • Familiarity with inside sales targeting SMBs in retail and eCommerce
  • Proficiency in utilizing sales development platforms for outreach

Responsibilities

  • Refine and optimize the company’s lead-generation strategies by identifying best practices
  • Implement annual sales and client account plans to meet revenue and relationship goals
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key customers to drive business opportunities
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and customer challenges
  • Accurately manage customer records, sales forecasts, expense plans, budgets, and relevant data
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer and company objectives are met
