About this role
Commvault is seeking an Emerging Cloud Native Account Executive to drive new business and expand our footprint in the SaaS market. This role targets accounts heavily invested in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, particularly cloud-native organizations. The ideal candidate is a tenured professional with a strong hunter mentality, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
You will target and penetrate whitespace accounts in the cloud-native ecosystem, identifying opportunities among heavy spenders on AWS, Azure, and GCP. Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients using in-depth knowledge of the cloud services market and competitors. Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing to achieve quotas.
Conduct in-depth research to tailor presentations and proposals to prospects' business objectives and cloud strategies. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Commvault as a trusted partner in cloud data management. Collaborate with technical and marketing teams for effective demos in cloud-native operations.
Maintain accurate CRM records and travel to customer sites, events, and tradeshows to engage prospects. This role suits a driven, results-oriented sales professional thriving in a dynamic environment. Expand Commvault’s presence in the cloud-native market while achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Requirements
- Preferred 1-2 years of relevant experience in software or SaaS sales
- Strong track record of cold calling and closing high-value deals
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the cloud technology space
- Experience with SaaS products and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Strong hunter mentality for driving new business acquisition
- Ability to manage full sales cycle from prospecting through purchase order closure
- Passionate about leveraging cloud technologies to solve business challenges
Responsibilities
