Requirements

Nearing completion of ICAEW ACA qualification
Part-qualified ACA status
Solid understanding of double-entry accounting and bookkeeping
Knowledge of ISA requirements
Experience in audit fieldwork for nonprofit clients
Ability to work with financial systems and controls
Familiarity with preparing financial statements and tax computations

Responsibilities

Conduct audit fieldwork on behalf of a wide variety of nonprofit clients
Draft recommendations for improvements to clients’ financial systems and controls
Attend client meetings with the wider team
Assist in planning audits, including reviewing prior year information and preparing lead schedules
Prepare financial statements in line with relevant standards and legal requirements
Draft corporation tax computations and support tax-related audit procedures
Support preparation of audit close-out meeting materials and discussion points
Maintain knowledge of relevant ISA requirements and internal policies in producing audit files
