About this role
Provide exposure and insight into the Marketing Brand department through hands-on daily business interaction with internal and external department business partners. The Internship role offers qualified individuals the opportunity to apply their education and skills in a professional environment. Collaborate on strategic departmental related projects while performing all other duties as assigned.
Engage in daily operations interacting with business partners to support marketing brand initiatives. Apply academic knowledge to real-world tasks in a credit union setting. Maintain adherence to TDECU’s values throughout all activities.
Work in a moderate noise level environment requiring frequent standing, walking, and sitting. Lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Gain professional follow-through on assigned projects in a team-oriented setting. Develop skills in managing multiple responsibilities while upholding confidentiality. Implement TDECU’s values and dress code in a collaborative atmosphere.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in pursuit of a Bachelor's of Business Administration or related degree from an accredited university
- Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Prefer Junior or Senior class level but will consider others
- Two to three years of completed coursework in a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
