Contribute to project or design engineering to the best of your ability under guidance from superiors. Take up all opportunities to learn while performance is assessed via annual appraisal.

Record timesheet hours within one day of a completed week with itemization by deliverable. Ensure project deliverables complete within schedule and budget with minimal corrections. Deliver work packages smoothly under your control while pursuing innovation in engineering practices.

Consider Health, Safety and Environment elements in all aspects of work package development, equipment specification, and offshore execution. Actively pursue safe work practices and report all HSE concerns immediately. Understand and apply industry codes like AS, DNV, API, IMCA, AISC to support project requirements.

Undertake all DOF in-house training and industry requirements including BOSIET, FOET, HUET, OGUK Medical for offshore access. Be mentored by engineering superiors to grow personal technical and professional capability. Assist occasionally with IMS documents or Vessel Safety Case development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering as minimum
Eligibility for membership of a national certifying institute (PE, EA, IMechE, RINA etc.)
Working understanding of Microsoft packages
General knowledge and experience of engineering principles from degree work-experience
Understanding of DOF Engineering Manual and project Basis of Design
Ability to ensure technical deliverables are concise, legible, accurate per DOF standards
Willingness to complete industry training, medical and fitness checks for offshore worksites
Pursue design for safety, function, practicality and economy of fabrication

Undertake DOF in-house training and offshore access certifications like BOSIET, FOET, HUET
